The accumulation of garbage in the state of Aragua is getting worse. The inhabitants complain that the waste collection service is irregular.
“Trash collection is provided once a month, and only in the main building, where the shops are, they don’t go by the houses,” said Irrael Manrique, a resident of Mata Redonda.
Likewise, José Pérez highlighted that “it is rare when the garbage truck passes” the same garbage and that, unfortunately, many people live of.
Residents of the sector have been forced to burn the waste, causing the proliferation of respiratory diseases in the community. In addition, there are a large number of vegetation fires.
