The nurses’ union of Aragua state expressed its repudiation of the recent salary increase announced by the regime, calling it unworthy.
“The nurses of the country remain in extreme poverty. We are demanding a salary, as a basic salary of U.S. $ 500 per month. We absolutely reject a salary increase that was announced by social networks”, said Jessica Vidal, president of the Aragua State Nurses College.
All the nurses of the union affirm that the situation is worse every day and assure that it is necessary to take action in this regard.
“We continue to be hit by the crisis, by the hyperinflation we suffer. We need approximately 48 minimum wages to be able to acquire the basic basket”, Vidal continued.
