John Bolton, National Security Advisor for the White House, supported the decision of the Venezuelan president, Juan Guaidó, to oppose alleged “parliamentary elections” while Nicolás Maduro occupies the Miraflores Palace.
On the other hand, he informed that the United States will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to certain organizations in the country, to support the provision of food, drinking water, medical supplies and health services.
The advisor to Donald Trump stated that the American nation remains committed to helping the country overcome the crisis caused by Nicolás Maduro from day one.
“The United States fully supports the decision of interim president Guaido to oppose early legislative elections overseen by the illegitimate Maduro regime. There can be no free or fair elections while Maduro remains in Venezuela”, he said through his Twitter account.
