The Canadian government expressed its concern on Saturday after learning of the report of the United Nations Fact-Finding Mission that reveals the crimes against humanity committed by Maduro’s dictatorship in Venezuela.
“Canada is deeply concerned about the findings of #UNFactFindingMission in Venezuela condemning the crimes against humanity by the Maduro regime,” they expressed through a message on the official Twitter account of the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Policy.
Furthermore, they urged the dictatorship to immediately stop these atrocious human rights violations.
“Rights must be restored through a return to democracy,” it ended.
Canada is deeply troubled by the findings of #UNFactFindingMission on #Venezuela condemning the regime’s “crimes against humanity.” We urge the Maduro regime to immediately stop these egregious violations of #humanrights. Rights must be restored through a return to democracy.
