The Commissioner of the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS) for the crisis of Venezuelan migrants and refugees, David Smolansky, thanked the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) for its work with Venezuelans.
“It has been very important for the exiled Venezuelans and their families who are still in the country to have been heard by the IACHR,” the Commissioner said through his personal Twitter account.
He also thanked the Executive Secretary of the IACHR, Paulo Abrao, for his visit to Venezuelans on the Colombian-Venezuelan border.
“Thank you Paulo Abrao and his team for going to the border. The greatest evidence of the horror of tyranny is to hear the testimonies of the refugees,” he ended.
