The President of Paraguay, Mario Abdo, ratified his rejection of human rights violations committed by Nicolás Maduro’s regime in Venezuela.
“Paraguay will continue to support the international denunciations against human rights violations in Venezuela,” said Abdo during his intervention at the 75th General Assembly of the United Nations Organization (UNO).
Likewise, the President expressed his solidarity with the suffering of the Venezuelan people inside the country and those who had to flee from the humanitarian crisis.
“The Venezuelan diaspora is the second largest in the world. More than five million Venezuelans have been forced to emigrate to our countries,” he recalled.
