The President of the Republic of Ecuador, Lenín Moreno, rejected the coup to the National Assembly (NA) by Nicolas Maduro’s regime.
“Today’s abuse against Juan Guaidó is a new example of the authoritarianism of Maduro’s regime. It distances Venezuela even more from the democratic path that the whole world is desires,” Moreno said through his personal Twitter account.
He also ratified his support for the democratic movement led by Juan Guaidó and the legitimate National Assembly. “Our solidarity with the democratic forces of our brother country,” he ended.
In the early hours of this Sunday morning, the Armed Forces under Maduro’s dictatorship prevented, through the State Security Forces, the access of the deputies to the Parliament’s headquarters in Caracas.
