The deputy to the National Assembly, Angel Alvarado, member of the Finance Commission revealed that during the month of November inflation in Venezuela remained on the rise, standing at 38.5%.
Meanwhile, accumulated inflation during 2019 stood at 5,515.6% and 13,475.8% year-on-year.
The parliamentarian warned that hyperinflation is expected to continue at least during the first half of 2020.
“Economic activity has fallen up to the third quarter of the year by 43%, while non-oil GDP has fallen by 78% on 2019″, the parliamentarian said.
“We have a country without a public budget in 2019 and neither for 2020 because it was not presented. We have a BCV (Central Bank) with no policy objectives,” he warned.
