The deputy to the National Assembly, Armando Armas, reiterated the call for unity of all sectors of the country to confront Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship and save Venezuela.
“Only united we will win. The narco-tyranny are few and we are many, that is why our leverage is democracy. Real democracy, which is exercised in function of the search for the representation of the millions of Venezuelans who will respect the minority,” stated Armas in a message spread on Twitter.
The parliamentarian for Voluntad Popular affirmed that the differing aspirations between Maduro’s dictatorship and the democratic forces of Venezuela are clear.
“We (propose) freedom, they oppression. We (back) legality, they criminality. We reconciliation, they permanent conflict. We are millions, they do not even reach a thousand. We are with the free world, they lie with profoundly corrupt regimes and violators of human rights,” he pointed out.
“And yes, it is us and them. Including “all” is impossible because that would imply an unacceptable impunity that would make us fall into the same thing sooner or later,” explained the parliamentarian.
However, Armas clarified “we can make concessions but always in terms of freedom and the profound change that our society demands and needs. Never in terms of submission, always in terms of freedom. And to achieve and exercise freedom requires courage and a defiant attitude”.
Solo unidos venceremos. La narcotirania son pocos nosotros somos muchos por eso nuestro apalancamiento es la democracia. La democracia real, la que se ejerce en función de la búsqueda de la representatividad de los millones de venezolanos que respetaremos a la minoría.
