The first Vice-president of the National Assembly, Juan Pablo Guanipa, spoke this Friday about the chaotic situation of public services in the country, and remarked that’s why a series of protests have been ocurring throughout the national territory, because Venezuelans are tired of living in misery and at the expense of the whims and mockeries of Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
“Nothing works in Venezuela. This dictatorship, moved by corruption, inefficiency and ideological madness, has destroyed all the infrastructure of public services in our country”, expressed the Congressman.
Guanipa said that civil society and private initiative have had to substitute the state in its responsibilities, while the state has pulverized the resources of Venezuelans.
“The report we received from different parts of the country reflects that people are not satisfied or resigned. The people have decided to fight for their rights and we accompany all those who use the protest to assert their rights,” he emphasized, while recalling that “with internal pressure, together with international pressure, we will achieve democratic rule and freedom in Venezuela.”
