The first vice president of the National Assembly, Juan Pablo Guanipa, on Friday blamed Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship for the collapse of Venezuela’s healthcare system.
“We got early to the Dr. Miguel Oraa General Hospital, located in Guanare, Portuguesa State, together with Congresswoman Maria Beatriz Martinez to denounce the neglect and abandonment in which it finds itself because of Nicolas Maduro’s regime,” said Guanipa in a message spread through his Twitter account.
Furthermore, the parliamentarian for Zulia State affirmed that the regime “does not even care that this healthcare center is the most important in Guanare and where patients who are unfortunately diagnosed with Covid-19 are treated.”
“Corruption and disinterest have destroyed the infrastructure there only is one respirator,” he concluded.
Nos les importa ni siquiera que este centro de salud es el más importante de esta población donde atienden a los pacientes que lamentablemente son diagnosticados con Covid19, la corrupción y el desinterés han acabado con la infraestructura que solo cuenta con un solo respirador.
