The First Vice President of the National Assembly, Juan Pablo Guanipa, visited different municipalities in the state of Zulia to learn about the problems affecting the community in the midst of the serious humanitarian crisis that the country is going through.
Guanipa reported that he visited the municipalities of Miranda, Simón Bolívar, Valmore Rodríguez, and Cabimas on the Eastern Coast of the Lake Maracaibo.
“We cannot feel anything other than indignation and impotence after hearing the testimonies of its inhabitants,” he said.
The parliamentarian said that all the municipalities he visited, are adrift while suffering from power cuts are daily, limited access to healthcare in the midst of the pandemic and wholesale lack of public services. “A true calamity,” he denounced.
“Our people are clear, as long as Maduro is in power everything will continue to get worse and resignation will never be an option. We don’t deserve this! They must leave power and we will continue working to achieve it,” he said.
