The First Vice President of the National Assembly, Juan Pablo Guanipa, made a tour this Saturday at the Zumaque 1 well, municipality of Baralt in Zulia State, the place where the country’s commercial oil production was born.
Guanipa recalled that Venezuela produced much more than three million barrels of oil for internal consumption and export, however, he denounced that the corruption of the dictatorship destroyed the Venezuelan oil industry in the last 21 years.
“When we should be producing 6 million barrels every day, we are producing less than 300 thousand.”
The congressman said that Venezuelans must pay between three and four dollars per liter of gasoline to be able to move around daily.
In view of the debacle originated by the regime, the Congressman reiterated the need to maintain the struggle that the democratic forces in Venezuela and the civil society have waged to achieve a country that may again be a great nation in all orders.
“We must continue to fight and not lose hope to get rid of Maduro and his accomplices and start a great process of national transformation, Venezuela will triumph”, he remarked.
