The Deputy of the National Assembly (NA), Macario Gonzalez, participated in the protest of educators and healthcare workers that took place this Wednesday in Barquisimeto, Lara State.
Gonzalez explained that the workers are in fairness requesting a decent salary with which they can have a decent standard of living.
“They are sentencing education and healthcare workers and the entire country to death,” said the parliamentarian in an interview with the National Assembly Radio.
The representative for Lara State explained that the great expenses that the regime of Nicolas Maduro makes buying arms from Russia, China and Iran are not justified while Venezuelans do not have a dignified standard of living.
The deputy reminded that healthcare workers and educators are not begging for something impossible, but are demanding something that corresponds to them.
“We will continue to support them because their struggle is honorable and just,” he ended.
“Les seguiremos respaldando porque su lucha es digna y justa”, concluyó.
