The deputy of the National Assembly, Alfonso Marquina, lauded the work that countries of the world such as France, the United States, Argentina and the United Kingdom have done to compensate for the negative impact of the pandemic on national economies and reiterated the inefficiency of the regime in dealing with a health crisis of such magnitude.
Marquina said that while the world’s governments seek to ensure the stability of the population, taking measures such as the suspension of taxes, financial costs and mortgages, in Venezuela the only thing “that interests the usurpers is to continue raising money, taking money out of the pockets of Venezuelans; to continue the voracity of satisfying public spending,” he said through his social networks.
The Parliamentarian reiterated that Maduro’s regime does not care about the country or its companies, since the only economic measure it has dictated among the pandemic is the increase of the Taxable Unit by 3000%.
“The usurpation far from seeking a solution to the crisis that Venezuelans are living, what continues is to seek resources for themselves, money to continue to maintain in the illegal and unconstitutional exercise of their functions,” he denounced.
The deputy of the legitimate NA urged to follow the example of the positive practices of democratic countries and seek a solution to the crisis, with the implementation of economic measures that allow to give peace of mind to citizens.
“We must dictate measures of non execution of mortgages, nor collection of credits while the suspension of the economic activity is maintained. As well as the temporary suspension of payments for public services such as electricity, water, urban cleaning and telephony while the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic continues,” he said.
