The second vice-president of the National Assembly, Stalin González, blamed Nicolás Maduro’s regime for the accident that occurred in the Caracas Metro, which left six injured.
“This is the product of the lack of maintenance, negligence and imminent corruption of the regime, which instead of investing in the improvement of public services have stolen the nation’s money. No more indolence!”, said González through his personal Twitter account.
The parliamentarian explained that the Caracas Metro is the most important means of transportation in the capital and after the derailment, the underground service was suspended for hours.
The Caracas Metro System has progressively deteriorated due to the lack of maintenance by Nicolás Maduro’s regime. Power outages are one of the most frequent problems of what was once an exemplary transportation project in the region.
