“Maduro’s economic revolution brought the minimum wage to $1 per month,” denounced National Assembly deputy Carlos Valero.
The congressman evidenced the serious hyperinflation that Venezuela is going through, which has devastated the minimum salary, placing it as one of the lowest in the world.
Valero said that in May 2013, the average worker earned approximately $133; however, Maduro’s regime brought salary to less than $1 per month.
“It is clear that the aim of the regime has been to drive our workers into extreme poverty,” he said.
Nicolás’ regime has devalued the Bolivar enough to create another extreme poverty line. At least 90% of Venezuelans live in this condition.
