The humanitarian crisis created by Nicolas Maduro’s regime continues to force Venezuelans to flee the country in search of better opportunities. However, lack of resources force many to make the difficult decision to walk away.
In view of this, the Deputy of the National Assembly (NA), Carlos Lozano, denounced the serious conditions suffered by these Venezuelans who decide to undertake a journey walking to any other country that offers them a higher quality of life.
In a video Lozano showed how entire families, even with infants in their arms, walk thousands of kilometers to leave Venezuela from the state of Barinas.
Likewise, the Congressman for Carabobo State, expressed his support to these brave people who decide to start this type of trip.
“Venezuelans fleeing from the ruin that Maduro represents in Venezuela, are not alone”, he insisted.
On her part, Representative Sandra Garzón, informed that many have lost their lives in these trips that thousands of Venezuelans have had to undertake.
“A woman died dehydrated while sleeping, a girl was run over, a teenager died run over. For many it is too late! Maduro has to go”, she affirmed.
Parliamentarian Carlos Valero also joined the denunciation and assured that while the culprits of the humanitarian crisis are mobilizing in state-of-the-art vans, the citizens are fleeing from the misery on foot.
“While those who caused this disaster are riding in caravans of armored vans, the people they swore to “protect” are walking thousands of kilometers fleeing from the misery and hunger they have caused,” he said.
