The Deputy of the National Assembly, Yanet Fermín, urged the State to attend to those affected by the overflowing of the Madre Vieja River in Maracay, Aragua State.
The deputy explained that the Girardot municipality is one of the most affected by the floods. In addition, she insisted that the population must be assisted immediately before the situation worsens.
“Many families have lost everything and today they do not receive concrete answers. The regime, as always, leaves the Venezuelans to their fate. Enough of being indifferent to this terrible tragedy that the Aragüeños are living,” she said this Thursday through her personal Twitter account.
Fermín affirmed that she will continue to denounce the lack of attention that Maduro’s regime has had towards Venezuelans.
“We will continue to be on the side of the Aragueños and all Venezuelans who suffer because of the regime,” she concluded.
Heavy rains have fell on the state of Aragua for three days. The rains caused the Madre Vieja, Turmero, Güey and El Limón rivers to overflow.
