The deputy of the National Assembly, Liz Carolina Jaramillo, denounced that the regime of Nicolás Maduro has formed parallel institutions for its own interests.
The deputy rejected any election made under Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship, in relation to the announcement of the regime about the parliamentary elections called to be held on Sunday, December 6th, considering that the conditions to carry out a vote are not given.
“If the legislative elections are held, we demand the presence of international observers, as well as the acquisition of new electoral machines, since all of them were lost during a fire in the CNE’s warehouses,” she remarked.
Jaramillo stressed the need to continue the fight for the restitution of democracy, and therefore urged citizens to continue demanding their rights.
“We must ensure that free, fair and verifiable elections are held,” she said.
