The deputy to the National Assembly, Delsa Solórzano, denounced that Nicolás Maduro’s regime has used the Covid-19 pandemic to repress and violate the human rights of Venezuelans.
The parliamentarian rejected the attack suffered by some minors in the city of Valencia, Carabobo State, where officials of the dictatorship confiscated their bicycles and violently detained them, disrespecting their constitutional rights in the midst of the quarantine.
Solórzano called the action an “act of barbarism” and urged the International Criminal Court to take action and act in favor of the Venezuelan people.
“During the pandemic, Maduro’s dictatorship has given as only response repression. What you see in the video is an act of barbarism where children are detained.”
