Deputies to the National Assembly sent, this Tuesday, a message of peace and hope for Venezuelans on the occasion of the 109th anniversary of the canonization of the Virgin of the Valley.
The parliamentarian for Acción Democrática, Piero Maroun, expressed that “the beautiful Virgin of the Valley today covers with hope that inner light that resides in every Venezuelan”.
“Divine Patroness, we pray to you for our country that bleeds. A blood letting that we can only stop with the power of faith and a united voice. Let us not fall into despair, let us continue together,” he added.
For his part, Congressman Carlos Valero, asked for the well-being of the people. “Virgin of the Valley, take care and protect all Venezuelans, inside and outside our borders”.
Similarly, the parliamentarian Mariela Magallanes raised a prayer on behalf of the Venezuelan people.
“Distinguished fence! We Venezuelans, in this moment of hardship, have hope strengthened in our Faith”.
Finally, the parliamentary fraction of Voluntad Popular remembered the jubillee that the Virgin means for Venezuelans.
“Every September 8th, the canonical coronation of our Lady of the Valley is celebrated, being this one of the most important Marian celebrations of the continent.”
