The deputy of the National Assembly, Tamara Adrián, presented a balance of the systematic violation of Human Rights, carried out by Nicolás Maduro’s regime during 2020.
“This year, the regime exponentially increased the systematic violation of human rights, for all Venezuelans and for all rights,” she denounced.
Adrián expressed that Venezuelans are suffering the violation of all constitutional rights, such as the right to housing, work, free movement, non-violence, sexual orientation and gender identity and women’s rights.
“They have all been systematically abused, apart from arbitrary detentions, forced disappearances and political prisoners,” she said.
Therefore, the parliamentarian remarked the importance of documenting, denouncing and keeping international organizations up to date on the violations perpetrated by the dictatorship in order to press the international community for forceful actions and bring justice.
