The Deputy of the National Assembly, Joaquín Aguilar, highlighted the dramatic situation of cooking gas (propane) shortage suffered by the inhabitants of Trujillo.
“There are communities with more than 6 months without (cooking) gas, they promised delivery for Christmas and nothing. There are Venezuelans who have paid for gas in advance and they don’t get anything,” he assured.
The parliamentarian denounced that the only gas that gets to the state is managed by the mafias under the protection of the dictatorship.
“The regime transformed the mayors into heads of the local mafias. These give away and promise gas in exchange for votes. The mayoralties cannot do anything because there is no budget, therefore, mayors are the heads of the black markets in the municipalities.” he declared.
