The Deputy to the National Assembly, Carlos Bastardo, warned of the danger posed by confinement for Venezuelans in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and the situation in the country.
“Let us always remember that this pandemic arrived in our country in the midst of a complex humanitarian emergency generated by the regime,” Bastardo said in a message published through his official social network accounts.
The parliamentarian explained that as a result, the confinement measures become even harsher for everyone.
“The virus is a reality that, together with the impoverished income of Venezuelans, constitutes a tragedy,” he concluded.
