Deputy Guerra: “Between the overflowing inflation and Maduro’s miserable wages, the Venezuelan family is in ruin”

The deputy of the National Assembly, José Guerra, condemned that while Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship lines their pockets with corrupt money, Venezuelans must survive in the economic crisis faced by the country.

Guerra pointed out that the inflation figures for January 2021 reflect a price increase of 3,400%, which has caused an increase up to $250 in the cost of the monthly food basket. However, the Venezuelan minimum wage, including bonuses, does not reach $ 3.

“How can a Venezuelan survive the pandemic with starvation wages? Between the overflowing inflation and Maduro’s miserable salaries, the Venezuelan family is in ruin, it has no capacity to progress. A change is urgently needed!” The legislator expressed through his personal account on Twitter.

Finally, the parliamentarian for Caracas stressed that unbearable inflation and low wages can only be solved when there is a change of government in Venezuela.
