The President of the Foreign Policy Commission of the legitimate National Assembly, Olivia Lozano, emphasized that the new repressive wave of the regime seeks to silence those who think differently.
“What happened these days is a repressive escalation of a regime whose targets are all actors in national life, all those who want a democratic change in the country,” she said.
Lozano expressed that Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship has extended a practice that represses and punishes all people who defend human rights.
“The regime deployed a repressive escalation against activists, political leaders and journalists who tell the truth and expose them,” she argued.
The parliamentarian reaffirmed that the attack against the President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, recognized by more than 70 countries in the world can be classified as an assassination attempt.
“The anger of the regime also comes from the cry of ‘Free Cuba!’,” she concluded.
