The Deputy of the National Assembly (AN), Carlos Valero, warned this Tuesday that a violent opinion matrix is being promoted against Venezuelans in Peru.
The parliamentarian reported that the messages are being sent through social networks.
“We make a call to stop these xenophobic actions. Use social networks to promote peace and unity,” he said through his personal Twitter account.
The humanitarian crisis, driven by Nicolás Maduro’s regime, has deepened week after week. Consequently, approximately 5.5 million Venezuelans have fled the country in search of a better future.
The arrival of thousands of Venezuelans to different Latin American countries has generated violence and xenophobia. The Legitimate Government of President (E) Juan Guaidó continues to call on the region to welcome citizens fleeing the misery caused by the dictatorship.
