Wilmer Azuaje, deputy of the National Assembly (AN) for the state of Barinas, will present before the International Court of The Hague the evidence of the extrajudicial execution by Nicolás Maduro’s regime, the former official of the Cuerpo de Investigaciones Penales, Científicas y Criminalísticas, Oscar Pérez and his six comrades.
This Sunday, the Spanish newspaper El Mundo published a chronicle of the extrajudicial execution of Oscar Pérez and his group of colleagues. Congressman Azuaje had access to the evidence collected by the media, which is made up of more than 400 photos of the massacre carried out on January 15th, 2018, in a house located in the El Junquito sector in Caracas.
The images prove that Perez and his comrades were killed by shots to the head.
Oscar Pérez was part of a group of former officials who rebelled against Nicolás Maduro’s regime. For six months, they carried out military actions against the dictatorship and issued statements against Maduro and his gang.
Maduro’s government planned and executed Operation Gadeon, which brought together approximately 500 members of Venezuelan security forces and paramilitaries, surrounded the house they were in, and killed those on the premises.
