The first vice president of the National Assembly, Juan Pablo Guanipa, denounced the severe failures in the electrical, gas and gasoline services in Yaracuy State.
The parliamentarian visited a gas station in the morning and from there, he said: “it is not only gasoline, it is also (cooking) gas. This region has been without gas for five months”.
The deputy for Primero Justicia denounced that not satisfied with that, the dictatorship threatens the inhabitants not to use electric stoves “because that supposedly collapses the electrical system that is already destroyed.”
“At this moment, there are people who have got up before dawn to try to fill up their vehicles. Whoever cannot fill up here has to pay two or three dollars per liter in order to have gasoline for emergencies. This is a country that used to produce 4 million barrels of oil per day, which has the biggest reserves in the world, and today we are not producing gasoline in Venezuela because of ineptitude, corruption and Maduro’s disaster has led the country to collapse”, he said.
Guanipa affirmed that they will keep on fighting until “achieving democracy, freedom, and opportunities for our Venezuelan homeland”.
“When does this struggle end? When we get Nicolás Maduro out of the presidency that he usurps and we Venezuelans can breathe easy”, he concluded.
