The Deputy of the National Assembly (NA), José Antonio Mendoza, denounced the abuses and the network of corruption maintained by the National Guard (GNB) in the service stations in Monagas State.
This Saturday, the parliamentarian released a video in which the wife of a kidney patient pleas for access to gasoline because her husband was due to receive a dialysis treatment in the morning hours. Despite the fact that the citizen showed a medical report, the GNB cash did not want to give her access to the fuel.
Mendoza also regretted the fact and recalled that this is the reality that all the Monagas citizens live.
“The indolence of Nicolás Maduro’s regime has no limits, protected by officials such as the first lieutenant of the National Guard, M. Pereira,” he said through his personal Twitter account.
The congressman also insisted that actions like these are a disgrace to the nation and to Venezuelans. He also celebrated the attitude of the citizen who made the complaint and raised her voice for her rights.
“Yours is a courageous attitude, lady. Who does not kneel down before tyrants and demand your rights. Enough is enough,” he ended.
“Valiente la actitud de usted señora que no se arrodilla ante los tiranos y exige sus derechos. ¡Ya basta!”, concluyó.
