National Assembly deputy Olivia Lozano reported that 700 facemasks were delivered to the indigenous community of San Antonio del Morichal in the Gran Sabana of Bolivar State in the middle of COVID-19.
The Vice President of the Domestic Policy Commission of the NA said that the delivery was carried out with the support of President (E) Juan Guaidó and the Legitimate Government of Venezuela, as part of the fulfillment of protecting Venezuelan citizens during the pandemic.
Lozano said a total of 6,000 facemasks will be distributed in the municipality’s indigenous communities.
“Nothing stops the commitment to our indigenous brothers,” he said.
