The International Coordinator for Humanitarian Aid of Venezuela, Lester Toledo, declared this Saturday in relation to the acts of corruption in which several parliamentarians of the National Assembly (NA) could be involved.
“These gentlemen of the NA, linked to the commission of comptrollers and others, who are proven without a doubt of those deeds that are pointed out, must be judged in Venezuela but also by international justice,” Toledo said.
He also proposed to promote a series of national and international trials for the deputies involved in the corruption scandal and make them pay for their crimes because “they are betraying the trust of the Venezuelan people,” he said.
“Here we have to review the performance of all political parties, including mine. I am convinced that the good ones are mayority, that the majority of the deputies we voted for in 2015 are honest and we must gut those tumors of corruption and keep the good people to move forward,” Toledo concluded.
