The deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Luis Florido, on Friday warned the the Russian Federation authorities about the unconstitutionality of the Anti-Blockade Law, as was presented at a Russia-Venezuela business forum by Delcy Rodríguez on behalf of Nicolás Maduro in the Eurasian country.
The Parliamentarian warned about the illegality of the Anti-Blockade Law approved by the null and void National Constituent Assembly as “absolutely unconstitutional”, since it does not emanate from the only legitimately recognized Public Power to legislate on this matter, which is the National Assembly of Venezuela.
“The National Constituent Assembly has not been recognized by almost any country in the world, it does not have the legitimacy to make laws, because its constitutional power is to exclusively design a Constitution and it was not what they did, what they tried was to usurp the powers of the National Assembly.” affirmed Florido.
He also called on the authorities, businessmen and investors of the Russian Federation, to ignore the tenets on the aforementioned Law, because in his opinion it would “harm” them to make any investment in this country, not only because of the lack of transparency, but because of the illegality of the instrument.
The also leader of Un Nuevo Tiempo (UNT), asserted that the National Assembly agrees that investments should be made in Venezuela, but within the framework of the legality of which “Nicolás Maduro and his representatives lack.”
Finally, Florido stressed that until a new Parliament is elected in Venezuela, with fair, free and verifiable elections and not the farce called for December 6th, the legitimate National Assembly will continue in force and is the only one with legislative competence in the country.
In addition, he invited the Russian Authorities to attend the National Assembly to learn about everything related to legislative issues and the Venezuelan legal system, that has been absolutely disregarded.
