The first report of the Parliamentary Observatory on the fraud called for December 6th by the dictatorship was approved in the Ordinary Session of the National Assembly this Tuesday. This organ plans to present a “forceful report that will contain sufficient evidence” on the irregularities and denunciations of the reiterative violations of political and electoral rights and the kidnapping of the free vote of Venezuelan citizens before public opinion and international organizations.
This was reiterated by Representative Guillermo Palacios, who specified that among the cases documented so far by the observatory are: “the increase in the number of representatives; the elimination of the participation of indigenous people in electoral processes; the manipulation of electoral circuits and the migration of voters to other voting centers, among others.”
He recalled that the parliamentary observatory began its functions since the illegitimate TSJ, in an irregular, manner designated the members of the CNE which is an attribution that constitutionally corresponds exclusively to the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, the President in charge of the Republic of Venezuela and the National Assembly, Juan Guaidó, highlighted that the Parliamentary Observatory against Fraud, clearly documents the abuses of the dictatorship against the citizens that: “suffer a severe multifactorial crisis and a complex humanitarian emergency that became a catastrophe”.
Popular Consultation
Palacios explained that the popular consultation called by the National Assembly will allow the Venezuelan people to express their opinion regarding the electoral farce of this December 6th sponsored by Nicolas Maduro’s regime.
He called upon the citizens inside and outside the country to organize, mobilize and participate in the popular consultation that will take place from December 5th to 12th, with the objective of rejecting and ignoring the fraudulent parliamentarian elections.
He estimated that just as in the countries with governments where democracy prevails, where fair, verifiable and transparent electoral processes are developed, which guarantee conditions to their voters, respect the majority of the popular will and authorities are elected, the same scenario may soon occur in Venezuela
