This Tuesday, October 20th, the President of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Venezuelan National Assembly, Deputy Armando Armas, held a meeting with the head of international relations of the Israeli National Assembly, Hila Shay Vazan, to exchange ideas on the strategic relations between both parliaments.
In this positive meeting between Hila Shay Vazan and Deputy Armas, those responsible for international relations of both parliaments established a strategy of cooperation and mutual collaboration in fundamental issues that concern both countries such as democracy and freedom.
They also established an agenda for fighting terrorism and especially destabilizing factors such as Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran, as well as the contribution of parliamentary diplomacy to strengthen the union between the two countries.
“Venezuela’s freedom generates solid alliances with countries that are examples of democracy and development,” emphasized Deputy Armas during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Pynchas Brener, who is the diplomatic representative of the interim government to the government of Israel.
The meeting originated due to the contact with the President of the Knesset Yariv Levin and the deputy Armando Armas, where they have highlighted the importance of creating cooperation mechanisms such as the parliamentary group of friendship between Venezuela and Israel.
During the last months there have been important contacts between various Venezuelan and Israeli political groups such as the visit of Julio Borges, Presidential Commissioner for Foreign Relations for the interim government to Israel.
