The bridge in Troncal 16 Distribuidor Cantaura, an infrastructure that was located in the municipality Pedro María Freites of the state of Anzoátegui collapsed this Wednesday, according to National Assembly deputy Marco Quiñones.
The congressman said that the corruption and inaction of the dictatorship has led the country to ruins.
“No earthquake, no war. The distributor of the entrance of Cantaura just fell down. It wasn’t the sanctions, it was the indolence of the dictatorship and its accomplices who stole everything,” he said.
Gustavo Marcano, Minister Counselor of the Venezuelan Embassy to the US, also regretted the fact and expressed that the fall of the distributor bridge only represents what the dictatorship has done in Venezuela.
“An oil and gas producing state with access to the Caribbean Sea, literally turned into ruins. Only in socialism,” he sentenced.
