This Tuesday the Deputies of the Delegate Commission of the legitimate National Assembly (AN), blamed Nicolás Maduro for the prolonged complex humanitarian emergency that endures in Venezuela, a situation that worsens over time due to hyperinflation, increase in expropriations of private sector enterprises, the increase in the parallel dollar, the shortage of medicines, food and other basic household services.
Deputy Sandra Flores, Vice President of the Permanent Commission of the Comptroller’s Office of the AN, asserted that the high cost of living, hunger and destruction in the country, began with the invasions and expropriations of farms and companies that supply agricultural products then promoted by Hugo Chávez, which were later continued by Nicolás Maduro’s corrupt regime.
She pointed out that more than 3 million hectares of agricultural productive land, that represent 83.05% of the total area of Barinas State, of which 710 thousand 130 hectares, that is 23.22%, “is affected by invasions or many other damages to private property” and revealed that “currently, more than 132 thousand hectares are confiscated, invaded or expropriated by the Chávez and Maduro regimes.”
Dep. Flores also remarked that legal insecurity and mistrust prevent new producers from joining the work in the field and assured that as long as Maduro continues to usurp power, there will be no possibility of affordable prices and quality food for Venezuelans. Therefore, she urged that the National Salvation Agreement be finalized to recover the fields.
Cuban macabre plan
In the session held online, Deputy Marco Aurelio Quiñones, president of the Special Subcommission for Attention to Exiles of the AN, accused Nicolás Maduro of being the pioneer of the worst economic policies undertaken in the country, coinciding with his parliamentary colleagues that it all began with the “theft” from private companies that produce food brands recognized nationally and internationally.
He blamed Maduro for the high figures of malnutrition amongst the child population and asserted that the usurping regime intends to maintain “the macabre plan under the Cuban tutelage of the chains of social control”, such as the delivery of the ‘Clap’ boxes. “In a country where the monthly minimum wage is USD 4.00, this has caused more than 6 million Venezuelans to emigrate seeking better living conditions.”
“Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world. In addition, it has 100 billion in reserves of coltan. Large spaces to promote tourism. Lots of hardworking people. However, there is an obstacle that makes the Venezuelan live worse and go hungry, and it is: Nicolás Maduro who does not care about the well-being of the Venezuelan but staying in power by applying whatever measure is needed,” said Dep. Quiñones.
The parliamentarian Deyalitza Aray, Vice President of the Permanent Commission of Cults and Penitentiary Services of the AN, recalled the monthly increase in the food basket and asserted that with the salary or income of Venezuelans it is not possible to cover the essential needs of food and services. “That is the harsh reality that bursts in the faces of those who have dedicated all these years to destroying the country’s economy.”
“We have witnessed people rummaging through the garbage to survive,” recalled Aray, who stressed that Venezuelans of all ages are suffering from malnutrition as a result of the prolonged economic and financial crisis that exists in the country because of the regime. of Maduro.
