The Presidential Commissioner for the United Nations, Miguel Pizarro, condemned that Nicolás Maduro’s regime dismissed the case of David José Vallenilla, who was killed during the 2017 protests at the hands of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) in the vicinity from the Francisco de Miranda Air Base in La Carlota.
“David Vallenilla deserves justice and he deserves respect. We express our support for his father who demands that the right to justice be guaranteed,” Pizarro said in a message released through his social network accounts.
The Presidential Commissioner pointed out that the voice of David Vallenilla Sr., must be heard in the face of this assassination that Maduro’s regime seeks to hide.
“Apart from the violation of the right to life of my son, the right to justice is violated, these two fundamental rights guaranteed in the Constitution and by international norms and covenants are violated,” said Vallenilla Sr., who pointed out to judge Kenya Carrillo Galvao as an accomplice of the regime when ordering the case to be dismissed.
