To national and international public opinion: Today, Sunday November 22nd, 2020, a plane from Paris arrived in the country sent by the International Community of Donors with 32 tons of health supplies that include: personal protective equipment; hospital kits with essential supplies; masks; soaps; eye protection; nutrition supplies and supplies for the immunization campaign.
As Commissioner to the United Nations, we reiterate that these supplies are sent specifically to help save the lives of Venezuelans and correct the precariousness of the healthcare system. Humanitarian aid is in support of the country and reaches Venezuela as a result of the solidarity of governments and multilateral organizations.
Our gratitude to the International Community of Donors and Humanitarian Agencies who continue to make it possible for this aid to reach Venezuelans. At the same time, we recall that the humanitarian space and humanitarian principles: equality, neutrality, impartiality and operational independence, must be respected; and the attempted propaganda and manipulation must be condemned.
