The Presidential Commissioner for the United Nations, Miguel Pizarro, thanked the German Chancellery and Ambassador Daniel Kriener for their participation in sending humanitarian aid to Venezuela.
Within the framework of the global pandemic by Covid-19, 12 tons of humanitarian aid were sent, which was channeled by the UN and will be administered by the UNICEF country’s team, with the goal of supporting the most vulnerable health centers and communities.
“Our thanks go to the German Chancellery and Ambassador Daniel Kriener for the shipment of 12 tons of humanitarian aid from Germany that arrived in the country today,” Pizarro said.
The shipment that arrived in Venezuela, is added to the more than 100 tons of aid that have been sent to Venezuela by the international community to assist Venezuelans in the midst of the health crisis they are subjected to by the socialist regime.
