The Commissioner for the United Nations, Miguel Pizarro, recalled that all Venezuela is affected by the irresponsibility of Nicolás Maduro’s regime which has created a serious crisis of basic services.
Likewise, he recalled that the citizens, besides going through a pandemic because of the Covid-19, must deal with a complex humanitarian emergency.
“In Venezuela, in the midst of an CHE (complex humanitarian emergency) and a pandemic that is adding up, there is no light, water, gas and gasoline. The interior of the country being the main affected by the unconsciousness of the regime,” he said on Monday through his personal Twitter account.
The representative of the Legitimate Government in the UN also rejected the unscrupulous repression by the dictatorship during the protests that have taken place in several states of the country.
“At the national level, citizens came out to demand their rights while the dictatorship represses them,” he ended.
