The Presidential Commissioner for Human Rights and Victim Care, Humberto Prado, thanked Venezuelan President Juan Guaidó for his efforts to help the Venezuelans who were stranded in Bogotá.
Prado acknowledged the work of Tomás Guanipa, Ambassador to Colombia, in guaranteeing the safe return of Venezuelan citizens to the country after being stranded at El Dorado International Airport.
The Commissioner reiterated that the arrangement was achieved thanks to the humanitarian measure supported by the government of the President of Colombia, Ivan Duque, as well as the authorities of the Colombian Foreign Ministry and Migration Colombia to allow the entry of nationals to the country.
President Juan Guaidó assured that the Interim Government will continue articulating efforts for the protection of Venezuelans and to achieve the measures to overcome the great crisis that surrounds Venezuela.
