The President (E), Juan Guaidó, thanked on Tuesday the participation of the 62 delegations that participated in the International Conference for Democracy in Venezuela. The high level meeting took place in Lima, Peru.
“We continue to build pressure and support necessary to accomplish change in our country,” said the president of the National Assembly via Twitter.
Guaidó described the conference as an achievement against the “challenge we have as a society to recover our democracy and the possibility of being happy in our own country”.
The Acting President thanked the Colombian government, the United States National Security Advisor, John Bolton; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, Argentina and Brazil and the Secretary of the United States, Mike Pompeo.
The International Conference for Democracy in Venezuela, according to Guaidó, “confirms that we maintain the support of the world to achieve solutions to the crisis” promoted by the Nicolás Maduro regime.
