The First Lady of Venezuela, Fabiana Rosales de Guaidó, called on the international community to promote humanitarian measures in favor of women who have been kidnapped by Maduro’s dictatorship in view of the danger they face due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Women kidnapped and imprisoned by the dictatorship are also at risk from Covid-19. They are in a state of vulnerability, are tortured and victims of violence, as was ratified in Bachelet’s report. They should be freed”.
Rosales de Guaidó denounced that “women imprisoned by the regime are pressured by their custodians to exchange sex for privileges or protection, as stated by the UN. In addition to being victims of gender violence”.
“Women political prisoners are also victims of gender violence, their rights are violated and they are subjected to cruel and degrading treatment. They should be set free,” concluded the wife of President (e) Guaidó.
Las mujeres secuestradas y encarceladas por la dictadura también corren peligro ante el covid-19. Están en estado de vulnerabilidad, son torturadas y víctimas de la violencia, así fue ratificado en el informe de Bachelet.
