The First Lady of Venezuela, Fabiana Rosales, reaffirms the importance of family education before a sexual relationship.
Rosales de Guaidó sent a strong message to all women and men, reaffirming that sexual assault can originate from a stranger or it can occur when your partner decides to ignore your refusal.
The First Lady assured that saying no is valid in any relationship, sexual or non-sexual.
“It is important that all family members know that we can decide not to initiate or continue a flirtation, and to disrespect, ignore or insist becomes a sexual assault,” she said through her Twitter account.
Last Monday, the head of the Office of the First Lady recalled that not only women are victims of sexual harassment. “Also men can suffer it from a woman or a man.”
Finally, she urged Venezuelans to build a society with values and principles so that respect for oneself and for another human being is the priority.
