The First Lady, Fabiana Rosales, paid tribute this Tuesday to those who have been assassinated by the regime of Nicolás Maduro for fighting for a democratic Venezuela with a quality of life. The message was given as part of the celebration of International Human Rights Day (DD.HH.).
“Our struggle is for a country of opportunities, of progress, of rights without distinction, in which there is food and medicine, education, respect for those who think differently; our struggle is to honor their memory,” said Rosales through his personal Twitter account.
The First Lady recalled that Venezuelans cannot get used to this critical reality that sustained by Maduro’s dictatorship. She also explained that the regime has deepened family separation, the deterioration of education and deaths due to lack of medicines.
“We fight so that human rights violations will never be repeated, so that our children can grow up on this soil. May God bless and strengthen your families,” she concluded.
