First Lady Fabiana Rosales attended a meeting with the President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, with more than 1,500 regional and municipal leaders from all over country on Wednesday.
At the event, Guaido explained to those present the strategic guidelines to continue advancing on the route proposed at the beginning of the year: cessation of usurpation, transitional government and free elections.
After the event, the First Lady issued a message on her social networks, where she emphasized that in order to achieve the political change that all Venezuelans want, it is necessary not only the pressure exerted by international allies on Nicolás Maduro’s regime, but that each citizen, each family and each community keep up the pressure because this “fulfills a fundamental role for the reconquest of democracy.”
Next the full message of the First Lady, Fabiana Rosales:
The organization of the nation is necessary to conquer political change, we must not only be satisfied by the pressure exerted by our international allies on the usurper’s regime, but every Venezuelan, every family, every community, plays a fundamental role for the reconquest of democracy. No one escapes the blackouts, the water cuts, the incidence of hyperinflation, the division of our families in the face of forced migration or the loss of loved ones due to the lack of medication, all this must continue to drive us to get out of this tragedy.
We want Venezuelans to return to our country but with a guarantee of quality of life, that those who today resist the consequences of the so-called “socialism of the 21st century” in our country have certain future. We are going towards a family reunion of Venezuela, respecting the rules, the institutions, the citizen, that is why the streets protests must not cease in their claim, because those who usurp the symbols of power do not govern today, they are isolated maintaining their benefits from corruption at the expense of the suffering of Venezuelans.
We are all necessary, today deputies of our legitimate National Assembly various political leaders, local, neighborhood and different political parties showed union because the goal is urgent and it is to save Venezuela, for the smiles of our children, for their right to feed and educate ourselves, and to enjoy health, not to be humiliated with perverse instruments such as the so-called “carnets”. Venezuelans are bigger than this and we are going to regain the freedom they took away from us. We are not afraid!. God bless our Venezuela.
