The interim government reiterates its commitment to the freedom of Venezuela, the alliance with our sister Republic of Colombia and the transparency of our management.
From the first moment of the so-called “Cúcuta Case,” it has shown its willingness for the corresponding authorities to investigate to the ultimate consequences. With respect to the institutions, it awaits the results of the Colombian Prosecutor’s Office report with the assurance that its conclusion will be respected.
Similarly, we stress that this Government will continue to protect the assets of Venezuelans. The Monomeros board of directors is made up of qualified, proven, non-partisan professionals and experts in their field, who work to rescue this company from the destruction and corruption of the usurpation, and who have achieved in record time a recovery of production.
We inform that the new appointments in the foreign service will be announced in the next few days and reiterate our commitment to the cessation of usurpation, a transitional government and the holding of free elections.
