The education sector was the fourth sector attended by the President of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, within the framework of meetings with the live forces of the country for the construction of the “Agenda for the 2020 struggle”.
This Thursday morning was the meeting in which the President (e) listened to the proposals and ideas of each of the attendees, to continue in the “battle” for the freedom of Venezuela and its immediate reconstruction.
“We must redouble our efforts by 2020, we cannot be beaten by wear and tear. We have the tools to get out of this nightmare but it is also true that it depends on everyone, on the effort and contribution of each one, to put an end to this tragedy,” Guaidó told teachers and professors.
He recalled that the country is in Emergency and therefore it is necessary to act and among the actions to be taken is to continue unifying all sectors, because the union is the strength of the struggle.
During the meeting and debate of ideas, the President thanked the attendees, the support and tireless struggle that teachers and professors have shown in the streets.
“I take with me from this meeting their concerns, worries, but also the contribution that each one has made and that we will formalize in the Agenda of the 2020 struggle”.
The representatives of the educational sector who met this Thursday with the President in charge of Venezuela, personally confirmed their support for his person and the struggle that he will continue to lead next year.
“You can count on the Venezuelan Federation of Teachers, Mr. President, on our support, to advance and to achieve the freedom of the country. Here you have the real street warriors, which is what you need,” said René Zapata, president of the Venezuelan Federation of Teachers.
Among the proposals they put forward, they highlighted being even more forceful in street protests, since “it is there where battles are fought to achieve change.”
They said that “the people lost their fear” and that is why there is no doubt that the change that so urgently needs Venezuela will be achieved.
